As Good As They Say? Paul Simon - Graceland
In this episode of Music at a Rational Volume, Nate and Kyle disagree about one of the most recognizable, well regarded, and simultaneously controversial albums of the 80s, Paul Simon's Graceland. In the latest installment of the As Good As They Say? series, your humble hosts talk about this iconic album from 1986 which is most known for the radio hit "You Can Call Me Al" and its accompanying music video featuring Chevy Chase (who was at the height of his popularity at the time). Graceland has won Grammys and is heralded by all the usual music industry tastemakers, but also has a sizable list of detractors so listen in to see which side Nate and Kyle land on.
